Coffee Shop Owner's Technical Skill Camp
This one day class is a must for any coffee shop owner or manager. This hands on experience takes you well beyond cleaning screens and changing gaskets. You will gain the knowledge of what every component in your espresso machine, grinder and drip brewer is, does, how it might fail and most important what to do when it does fail.
We understand that when a piece of equipment stops performing perfectly that you wish you fully understood what was going on so you could either take care of it yourself or know with confidence that the best action is to call the pros.
We take you under the hood. Once you know what each component is, you get to take them apart, see what's inside and what preventive parts you will install to keep the running smooth.
Whether you intend to do much more of the maintenance and repairs yourself or simply want to feel more confident that a service call is the right choice, this class is for you.
This is a full 9 hour a day class. We provide morning coffee, snacks and lunch (Vegan option available with prior notice). Workbench Coffee Labs is an SCA certified lab.
Class starts at 8am and runs until 5pm.
